In De Money Meter, host Frank van Leeuwen talks with well-known social media personalities and a financial expert about money matters. From saving to investing in crypto, and from retirement plans to buying a house—how do they handle financial decisions?
In this six-part series, we gain unique insights into financial topics that matter to everyone, featuring contributions from experts as well as the public, including voxpops and other perspectives.
The program focuses on major financial questions that concern young people—questions that can sometimes even be overwhelming. Our goal was to translate these financial struggles into the design in an abstract way.
That’s why we developed a concept in which a head literally and figuratively explodes. From this explosion, arrows shoot out of the ears, which eventually come together to form the De Money Meter logo.
To achieve the desired hyper-realistic result, we partially used AI.
Using Adobe Firefly, we generated the head, after which visual effects artist Nick Marlow brought it to life with the help of Luma Dream Machine. Everything was then combined and animated using Cinema 4D and After Effects.
The final result? A creation in which our expertise in design and animation seamlessly merges with AI, with both enhancing each other in perfect harmony.
A 6-second leader, bumpers, transitions, name and information cards, and a money meter scale. All episodes can be watched on the ‘NPO Start’ YouTube channel.
