Building a brand

In this case, we will provide you with a comprehensive overview of how we create a full brand identity, encompassing the traditional elements like a logo, colors, and fonts, as well as the dynamic aspects, including a 3D logo ident, 3D characters, and a fully animated app (coming soon). However, before delving into the details, let’s start with a brief introduction to Hiddle.

Hiddle is a startup. It provides a reliable, safe, and easy-to-access space where you can unlock conversations that are important to you. Hiddle is a safe space to engage with people who are walking a similar life path, enabling you to have meaningful conversations about topics that matter to both of you. It connects you with individuals who share experiences and offers the opportunity to open up, engage, and support each other, all while remaining anonymous and without judgments.

Playfull but Mallow

Every branding starts with a logo, some colors, and, of course, a stylish typeface. We prefer to prioritize motion because it’s important to us that the branding we create works well in motion. Hiddle provided us with some key elements that reflect their story: two people, chats, emojis, and, of course, sharing the same life path. Their brand DNA consists of being Respectful, Playful, and Inclusive. Their personalities are described as Mallow, Light-hearted, Inspirational, Easy-to-access, and Empathetic.

With all these ingredients, we set out to create a branding that embodies these characteristics.

Creating some character

When building the branding, it became evident that the identity required some anonymous characters with whom the target audience could identify. To begin, we conducted a brainstorming session to identify Hiddle’s target audience. We categorized the audience into four different personalities.

Subsequently, we developed sketches of these faceless characters. We then used some Cinema 4D magic to bring them to life. The result: a set of dynamic and intriguing characters for their app, website, pitch deck, and all their social platforms.
